Is the first time you have had support from the DRF?

Yes, this is the first year that I’ve received support from the Dave Rayner fund and I am very grateful!

What is your cycling history ?

I started cycling aged 12 with my local club, Bourne wheelers. It was Alison Lilley, a British cycling go ride coach & Jenny Gretton, at that time east mids talent team coach, that really got me interested in the sport. As a junior I was a member of the Hargroves cycles race team and they supported me massively, until as an under 23 I was offered a place on the British cycling Academy programme

What team are you joining in 2014? Tell us a bit about your team

In 2014 I’ll be riding for the French DN1 squad Guidon Chalettois. They’re based just south of Paris, as you can see on their website : http://www.guidonchalettois.fr/

Have they a website we can link to?

What is your race programme looking like?

It’s not 100% finalised yet, but early season, we’ve got several coupe de France national rounds and some French elite national races.

Are you going on a training camp with the team?

Yes, we’ve got a training camp in southern France in early february.

When are you heading out to Europe?

I’m heading out to Europe for the team presentation on the 24th of January.
