Is the first time you have had support from the Dave Rayner Fund?

This is my first year being supported by the Dave Rayner Fund.
However I have seen how much support the Fund has giving to so many other riders over the years who have now gone all the way, which makes me feel honoured that I was select for the Fund which gives me a boost of confidence, heading into my first season as a U23 and first full season racing in Belgium,In 2017 I will be riding for team Goma Dakwerken a Belgium cycling team based in East Flanders, The team is made up of 19 riders.

What bike will you be riding and who supplies the team kit?

As a team we will be using Bottecchia bikes, with Doltcini blue and orange colour code to our kit.

 
What is your race programme looking like?

We have a strong race program which will allow me to compete at a high level in Belgium, France and Italy.
Which include.
-Dwars Door vlaamse Ardennen
-Ronde Van Oost-Vlaanderen U23
-Tour De La Manche
Just some of the big races I am very much looking forward to.

What is your cycling history ?

I started cycling when I was 13 years old,
For a local club Wigmore CC, by being involved in a well structured set up I was quickly introduced into racing as youth and started out on my dads 15 year old road bike.
After four years of racing,growing my own knowledge within the sport and building a strong CV, going into a second year as junior I applied and got accepted into the clubs development race team called TBW Bottecchia Wigmore RT, through their contact in Belgium I had the chance to go to Europe and have a taste of racing on the continent as a junior.

 
What team are you joining in 2017?

After a successful couple of months racing in Belgium,in all different levels, I  got an offer from Goma Dakwerken for a place on their team in 2017.

Where are you going to live?
Because of the support from The Dave Rayner Fund I will be living in Zottegem, East Flanders region of Belgium, from March 12th to the end of September.
