Is the first time you have had support from the Dave Rayner Fund?

Yes, this is my first year with support from the Dave Rayner Fund.

What is your cycling history?

I started mountain biking in Afan Argoed with my dad on weekends when I was 14, one day he took me to Newport velodrome, soon after I got my first road bike and I was hooked!  I didn’t touch my mountain bike once after I started riding on the road.

What team are you joining in 2015? Tell us a bit about your team.

I have joined Italian team G.S. Zalf Euromobil Desiree Fior for 2015, the team has been going for over 30 years and last year was the top ranked Italian domestic team.

What is your race programme looking like?

The team will race predominantly in Italy, I hope to race all the top U23 climbing one day and stage races such as the Piccolo Giro de Lombardia and Valle d’Aosta.

When are you heading out to Europe/USA?

I have already arrived, have been living in the team house since 9th January!
