Is the first time you have had support from the DRF?

This is my second year with support from the Dave Rayner Fund. It helps massively towards living & racing abroad, without their support it wouldn’t be possible.

What is your cycling history ?

I started cycling at the age of 5, winning my first race at the age of 6. I have always loved racing a bike from a young age. I was very successful as a youth, winning many regional & national titles. I also had many highlights as a Junior, including riding the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2011. I fully committed to my cycling career in 2012 & went to race in France for the season, to gain experience and some results to see if it was really what I wanted to do. After 4 months in France and falling in love with racing even more I aimed to go to Belgium for the following season. In 2013 I signed for Terra Footwear – Bicycle Line in Belgium. With the help of the DRF I was able to live and race there for 7 months in 2013. Once again I learnt alot, and loved racing in Belgium at such a high level, as well as picking up some decent results along the way. For 2014 I have re-signed for the re-branded ‘Terra Safety Shoes’. I am looking forward to the season ahead and I’m working hard to make it a successful one.
