Yes, this will be the first time that I have received the funding and I am very grateful.

What is your cycling history ?
I started racing when i was 13 years old, my farther raced internationally when he was in his early to mid 20’s and got me my first race bike when I was turning 13, after that I was hooked and started cyclocross and track. when I turned 17 I was accepted onto the Olympic Development Programme and raced internationally on the track and road for Great Britain for two years, I also raced in Belgium and Holland many times over the past few years, but last year I decided to try racing in America and I love it.

What team are you joining in 2016?
I will be riding for Team Cycle Sport-Specialized presented by Muscle Milk. one of the leading Northern California cycling teams with some big sponsors and support, they offer a great racing calendar.

Tell us a bit about your team.
So my team has been around for only a few years now but its slowly getting bigger, we have close partnership with Specialized as our team president works for them, our shop sponsor Cycle Sport is based in Scotts Valley, about 40 minutes north of me. I’m really happy with the support I’m receiving from them and the people affiliated with the team.

What is your race programme looking like?
Very stacked this season, big races early in the season too like Chico Stage Race, 3 days, 4 stages and even some gravel in the road race, several pro teams will be traveling to this one. I’m pretty much racing every weekend and I’ll also be doing some national rounds this year here in the USA.

Where are you going to live?
I’m living in a small town in California called Aromas, barely any traffic, scenic riding and picturesque mountain tops. The weather is incredible and it ensure I can get some great miles in all year round.
