Is the first time you have had support from the Dave Rayner Fund?

Yes this is the first time I will be receiving support from the Dave Rayner Fund.

What is your cycling history ?

I started racing when I was 16, and fell in love with the sport. Before that I was fairly sporty but didn’t ride my bike much, but did my first race and got hooked! It was a Boxing Day 10 on a new bike and I suffered! But ever since then I’ve just wanted to get better and better.

What team are you joining in 2015? Tell us a bit about your team.

I will be joining Team Handiness in 2015. It’s a Belgian team with a lot of English speaking riders, and the goals and mentality of the organisation seems very promising. Plus I get on with the management very well, so everything’s set for a good year.

What is your race programme looking like?

My race programme looks very promising, predominantly based around the Belgian kermesses, but these will be useful for picking the team for the bigger stage races in Belgium and France.

Are you going on a training camp with the team?

I’ll meet most of the team in March, and everyone in the team has done their own thing with training camps. I’ve recently returned from a month training camp in Mallorca, it was an excellent block of training with some very good friends, so morale was high!

When are you heading out to Europe/USA?

I’ll be heading out in March.
