    Spend time with friends and family, study and eat.

    Is the the first time you have had support from the DRF? 

    Yes this is my first year supported by the fund.

     

    What is your cycling history ? 

     I was picked off my school playing field by Phil West when i was 13 years old and from there i got a place on the Olympic talent team programme where i learnt everything i know today. I really enjoyed cycling from then on wards and I've ridden a bike and raced ever since. None of my family cycle so i guess i was just in the right place at the right time all those years ago!

     

     

    What team are you joining in 2013?

    I’m riding for Breast Cancer Care cycling team in 2013. We’ve got a great group of girls in the team this year including Dame Sarah Storey, Julie Leth former Danish National champion as well as lots of talented British riders. It’s great to be supporting such a great charity like Breast cancer care and I hope we can raise even more awareness of the amazing work  the charity does.

     

    What is your race programme looking like?

    Besides defending the National Series title Sarah Storey won last year, i will focus on an international programme kicking off the season in Belgium with some of the classics. I’m really looking forward to competing and gaining more experience in UCI stage races around Europe.

     

    Are you going on a training camp with the team?

    We aren’t going on a team training camp but a few girls are getting together from the team so it will be great to get to know new riders and ride together before the season kicks off.

     

    When are you heading out to Europe?

    I’m heading to Belgium at the end of March for a few races before moving out there early May.

     

     

    Where is your racing base: Belgium
