Season draws to end end : Andy Leigh blog
2015 season draws to an end.
This year if I compared myself to last season I feel I have made progress and that I have been able to get more involved in the races, showing my more aggressive attacking nature rather then just making up the numbers.
I have learnt a lot but know there is much more I need to learn, In 2016 I now have a fantastic opportunity having signed for the Colba -Superano Ham Continental Cycling Team , this is a big step up for me and I’m really motivated for this, I hope that I can reward them with the confidence that they and others have in me to show my full potential to reach higher levels and I look forward to working with the team.
I have had a great time living again in Otttenburg together with Josh Teasdale, Tom Bracegirdle and Daniel Herreywn.
As my 2015 season has now drawn to an end and my down time begins it is only right that I say thank you to those that have made my season in Belgium possible.
To Karl Bickley and USN UK for keeping me fuelled throughout the season, to Chris Boardman for gnerously supplying me with my Time Trial bike and offering me advice. To Hans and Ingrid from Team Handiness for initially giving me the opportunity to ride over in Belgium, to Gerry Vande Pontseele my DS at XEL texteil VDB Steenhouwerj where I was made to feel most welcome and really part of the team in the short time I rode for them at the end of season giving me the chance to ride more as a team. To my family who have supported and believed in me and finally without the support of the Dave Rayner Fund none of this would have been possible.
Thank you for reading.
