What is your cycling history ?

My whole family played part- from my parents buying me my first bike, to my grandad teaching me how to ride, to my brother racing against me in our back yard.  I got into cycling at a very young age from when i could reach the pedals and pin a number on my back. My dad was winning the national cyclo-cross series at the time and i was happy to take part in the kids cross races because you always got a goodie bag at the end!

What team are you joining in 2013?

The Breast Cancer Care Cycling Team is a British based women's cycling team racing both in the UK and in professional races across Europe. Besides riding to win, the team is riding to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Care. Dame Sarah Storey will continue to ride for the team in 2013 after her pregnancy.

What is your race programme looking like?

It’s a European calendar, focusing on 1.2 or 2.2 UCI races mostly in Belgium, Holland and France including kermesses and British national races in between.

Are you going on a training camp with the team?

     No

When are you heading out to Europe?

I’m heading out in a week with the team, my first race is Omloop het Nieuwsblad on the 23rd February.
