  Is the the first time you have had support from the DRF? 

  No, This is the third year i have been funded.

  What is your cycling history ?

  I got into cycling in 2003 as a challenge to do a charity cycle from the southern tip of Ireland to the most northerly tip, and began racing in 2005 as a second year junior, I was a member of the Foyle cycling club in Derry when i first started.

  What team are you joining in 2013?

  I am riding in 2013 for the An Post-Sean Kelly team, the website for the team is www.seankellycyclingacademy.com and we have big names such as Niko Eeckhout (rider) and Sean Kelly (manager) involved in the set up.

  What is your race programme looking like?

  We do quite a lot of racing in Belgium during the season, with some stage races in Ireland, Britain and France also.  Its a really nice varied program, with both flat and hilly races.

  Are you going on a training camp with the team?

  Yes, i am writing this now from our team training camp in Calpe, Spain.  We have a nine day block here as final preparation for the season.

  When are you heading out to Europe?

  I expect to be in Belgium by the first week in February.
