Is the first time you have had support from the Dave Rayner Fund?

I am lucky enough to say it is my 3rd year with the Dave Rayner Fund.

What is your cycling history?

My dad got me into cycling at a young age, He used to race at a high level. He regularly took my brother and I to watch the Tour De France. So it was pretty normal I followed in his footsteps. I did my first race with Towy Rides at my local track in Carmarthen at the age of 11 and was hooked. I also did a lot of Cyclo Cross and Mountain biking as a youth, But as a junior I decided to focus on the road and the track. So competed in the National Series. I was also fortunate enough to go abroad with Wales to race some UCI races.

What team are you joining?

Tell us a bit about your team.

The team has been around for over 10 years and is in the top flight ivision 1 of French cycling based in St Brieuc, Brittany. This year sees the team grow to 17 riders including fellow DRF fund riders Lewis Bulley and Stuart Balfour.

What is your race programme looking like?

The race Programme consists of top level French racing, Including Coupe de France, UCI Races. Races such as Tour of Brittany, Cicle Classic, Tour of Alsace.

Where are you going to live?

I will be living in a team house in a town called Quessoy near the teams Service Course .

What bike will you be riding and who supplies the team kit?

I will be riding a GIRS Oscar for this season and the team is kitted out with Local supplier Noret.

Do you have any other interests outside of cycling?

Yes, big fan of car rallying and cars in general. I have the best looking VW Polo in Wales.
